special consideration for non-traditional (older) children
I usually don't get to see the children's frame very often because of work, but today I got to see it after a long time.

The children had grown up before I knew it. When I was watching them, they were still small and would have used small swords, but now they are adult-sized.
He is also a quick learner, so he quickly learns and performs the teachings of his teacher.

The first thing we did was to practice natto using chikko in pairs. The first thing we did was to see who could deliver the sword faster. It was like a game, and they seemed to be having a lot of fun. This kind of scene is still very child-like.

Then, stances 1 and 3. kumite 1 and 2.

Since there were not many adults to deal with today, the child with the upper sash will deal with the younger one.
It seemed difficult to pause and match them up. I usually had an adult guide me, so I didn't get it right the first time.

It is important to be in tune with your partner. The master taught me that it would be good if I could match my partner in order to make him or her look cool, and I took that to heart and was able to do it the next time.

The children's frame was one in which adults also had much to learn from their rapid absorption.

The adult group has a performance in October at Kendou, so they had to practice for that and for those who did not perform, they had to practice daily for the upcoming performance.

This time, the adults are mainly green belts, and everyone is working together to create the program, from the composition of the performance to the training guidance.

I feel the difficulty of communicating to others every day. Even if there is something that cannot be done well, if those around us cooperate to solve the problem, we will be able to create a wonderful performance. I believe that no one in the world of swordsmanship would think that they are the only one who can shine.

In the short time before the performance, I will do my best in daily rehearsals so that I can perform a piece that will please many audience members.

Even if you are tired from work, you will feel energized when you come to the rehearsal hall.
