Thank you very much for the "Hatsujin" (first battle) of the swordsmanship performance.

                    July 28: First performance!
July 28, 2017
The "Hatsujin" performance ended successfully at the Tsukishima Social Education Hall, 4th floor.
This year's event featured a total of 30 performers and 25 programs.
The performers also include the Itabashi Head Office, Tsukishima Class, and Jewelry Kids Class.
Everyone is very happy to participate.
Looking back, the Jewelry Kids class was launched last year as a "swordsmanship" class,
I always thought it would be great if I could create a place for everyone who works hard every day to present their work.
Everyone worked hard during the short training period this time.
I am glad to see that the Tsukishima class members also performed together with the Itabashi students, expanding their circle of friends.
And the Itabashi class!
This time, everyone, including production and backstage staff, worked together to put on the show.
I know it was hard work, but I think it was very meaningful.
Kogei Kido Kids!
It has been about five and a half years since I first started working in the form of Kendobido, and I remember well how puzzled I was at first.
Even after becoming a master teacher, there were many twists and turns, and I thought many times that I really was not the type to stand on top, smiling.
However, we are still in the process of shaping it and will continue to do so for some time to come, and there is no "perfect form" at this time.
If Dr. Shimaguchi is at the helm of the whole project,
I believe that my role is to "try" everything first.
The first performance was a start, but we will continue to search for what is meaningful to Kendo-kido and what will be its food for the future.
We would like to move forward.
Last but not least, I would like to thank all the first-time performers, all those who helped in various ways, and all those who came to the event.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who have always supported us in our endeavors. Thank you very much.
Above all, I am personally very happy that the "circle" has expanded.
We look forward to working with you in the future.
