Tour of Ukraine (Slavtiti Part 1)

On the second day in Slavtiti, there was no performance, but the local coordinator arranged for Kamui and Kabuki members to go on a special tour of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.

Thirty years after the accident, the surrounding forests have returned to their original state, and many tourists from around the world visit the site.

For the members of 剱伎衆 Kamui and Kendai, who have close ties to Fukushima, the site of the nuclear power plant accident, the visit to Chernobyl was a unique opportunity for them to feel and think about many things.

After returning to Slavicici in the evening, the Udo sisters of the Kendo-Kids provided an opportunity to serve tea to local children at a cultural center in the city.

It must have been a valuable experience for the children to realize how difficult it is to entertain and interact with people of the same generation, but who do not speak the same language and have completely different cultural backgrounds.

The second day in Slavtiti was another productive and fulfilling day!
