KENGIDO - KENGIDO - Training Room Journal!

Kikugido Practice Journal
December 16, 2017
Today's training included both children's and adults' screening.
Yesterday's intermediate class was no different.
Yesterday, we finished an hour and a half of practice with only the first "Shogan" of the newly created "Stance 5".
It was very enjoyable to practice one posture slowly and carefully.
Today's class proceeded with more tension than usual.
We just do what we have always done.
If you always do it, you can do it, and the areas where you couldn't do it are where you are lacking now.
Even if you try to show your work properly only on the day of judging, you will always come out of it somewhere, just like in a stage performance.
I also thought it was important to pay attention not only to myself but also to the entire rehearsal space and try to keep the whole thing flowing smoothly.
I am sure there are still areas I am not seeing, but I think I should at least act on what I am noticing.
I am sure that such casual, invisible actions will naturally appear when Kendō is active outside the company.
I hope we can all share these feelings and grow together.
There are only a few more rehearsals left in the year.
I would like to participate in the training so that I can accumulate properly.
Thanks again for your hard work today.
