March 20, 剱伎衆 Kamui will perform at the opening ceremony of the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C.
The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a major annual event commemorating the donation of cherry trees from Tokyo to Washington D.C. in 1912 and celebrating the long history of friendship between the United States and Japan, with artists with ties to both countries invited to perform as guests at the opening ceremonies.
Due to the popularity of this year's event, tickets are sold out, but the opening ceremony will be transmitted via streaming.
