Ok, so this might be a little of a cheat. Technically, I’m pretty sure these are considered two separate fight scenes, but since one leads directly into the other, I’m going to be indulgent and slap ‘em together. Because truly, they are both remarkable, but they are best when seen together. This ain’t just one of the greats of the 21st century; it’s one of the best fight scenes of all time. Quentin Tarantino is an impossible filmmaker to pigeonhole, but it would certainly be a stretch to say he’s an action director, and yet with his Kill Bill films, he channeled a lifetime’s worth of love for Kung Fu into a loving homage that samples so liberally, it earns a flavor all it’s own.
Every single fight in Kill Bill Vol. 1 is pretty much a masterpiece. Tarantino recruited legendary martial arts choreographer Yuen Woo-ping and sword fight choreographer Tetsuro Shimaguchi, for the film and the results are the kind that go down in movie history. The Bride vs. Vernita Green is a pulverizing punch-fest. The Bride vs. O-Ren Ishii is an elegant and refined Katana duel. But the fight with Gogo Yubari and the subsequent battle with the Crazy 88 is so iconic, it’s probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the movie. The sequences are vicious and wildly violent, with spurts of blood and bone shattering contact, but they are also incredibly playful. And the powerhouse duo of Uma Thurman, who sells ever dramatic beat trough the madness, and her stunt double Zoe Bell, who makes her look like a superhuman force of nature, deliver each moment to perfection.

第1位 「キル・ビルVol.1」 ザ・ブライド 対 ゴーゴー夕張＆クレイジー88

こう表現するのはちょっとずるいかもしれないが、専門的な観点からいくと、これは２つの、別々のファイトシーンであると考えてよい。
しかし、1つの場面がもう１つの場面に直接的に繋がっているのも事実なので、ここは寛大にいこうと思う。
両方とも見事な出来栄えであるが、一緒に鑑賞するのがベストだろう。
これらのファイトシーンは、単なる「21世紀の傑作の1つ」ではない。「映画史上最高のファイトシーンの1つ」である。
クエンティン・タランティーノという人物は分類することすら難しい映画監督で、彼を「アクション映画監督」と呼ぶのは無理があると思う。
しかし同氏はキル・ビルという映画に、自身のカンフーへの愛情を惜しむことなく注ぎ込んでおり、これにより本作品は独特の味わいを持つものに仕上がっている。
キル・ビル Vol.1に出てくるファイトシーンは、そのどれもが傑作だと言って良い。
この映画を作る為にタランティーノは伝説的な武術振付師であるユエン・ウーピンと殺陣師の島口哲朗氏をスカウトしたわけだが、その結果、キル・ビルは映画史上に残るであろう作品となっている。
ザ・ブライド対ベルニータ・グリーンの徹底した殴り合い。ザ・ブライド対オーレン石井の華麗で洗練された刀による斬り合い。
その後のゴーゴー夕張との戦い、クレイジー８８との戦闘はもう伝説的で、キル・ビルと聞いて皆さんが最初に思い浮かべるファイトシーンはおそらくこれらの場面ではないだろうか。
吹き出る血、砕ける骨—戦いのシーンは凶悪かつ暴力的だ。
ただ、遊び心もふんだんに詰め込まれている。
ウマ・サーマンの狂気じみた劇的な演技と、彼女がまるで超人的な力を持っているかのように思わせてくれるスタントのゾエ・ベル。才能ある二人が作り出す瞬間は、そのすべてが完璧だ。
